The First Teaser & the First Draft

I’m super excited, mainly because I set myself a goal, and I met it.

The goal: to have the first draft of Declan and Jade’s book completed by the end of August. Which I managed with just a handful of hours to spare.

Yep, it’s done—but that doesn’t mean it’s ready yet. Before it’s even CLOSE to ready, there are a few things that I need to do.

  1. Rip it to pieces.
  2. Add things.
  3. Delete things.
  4. Change things.
  5. Cry about things.
  6. Name it.
  7. Blurb it.
  8. Cry a little more.

Actually, items six and seven on that list are partway done. I have two potential times and two possible blurbs, but will wait until I read it and my (mostly) fantastic beta readers have offered their opinions before I decide which to use.

So, until that happens, enjoy the first teaser from the as-yet untitled book featuring Jade, the pink-haired Office Manager of Figures’ Accounting and Declan, the best friend of Sebastian who is, at least in Jade’s opinion, a complete and utter jackass…

Feel free to let me know what you think! And what this space for more teasers to come as we get closer to release.
